E-Commerce & International Business Study Tours in Xi’an

Our China e-commerce study tours combine business learning with Chinese language and culture. Students attend lectures on e-commerce fundamentals and e-commerce logistics, take part in company visits arranged in the itinerary, and have Chinese language and culture sessions on the campus of Xi’an International University. There are two itineraries, of 7 and 14 days.

Lectures

Both itineraries include a lecture on E-Commerce Fundamentals and a lecture on E-Commerce Logistics. Depending on the itinerary, these are joined by further e-commerce lectures or by a lecture on business topics.

International business is not offered as a separate programme; on these two itineraries it comes through the e-commerce lectures, including the lecture on E-Commerce Logistics. Groups interested in trade between regions may also look at the 10-Day Chinese Language & Silk Road Camp in our culture theme, which includes a cross-cultural lecture in English on ‘China–Saudi Economic and Trade Relations and Cross-Border Trade under the Belt and Road’.

Company visits

Depending on the itinerary, the programme includes company visits to Sanshenshan (Xi’an) Technology Co., Ltd., Qujiang Furongge Hotel Management Co., Ltd., iFLYTEK Co., Ltd. and Shaanxi Siwei Shubang Information Technology Co., Ltd. The itinerary cards below show which visits each itinerary includes.

Chinese language and culture

Both itineraries include Chinese language and culture sessions. On one of them, Chinese lessons focus on spoken and comprehensive Chinese, and cultural experiences can include tea art, tai chi, calligraphy, Chinese painting and guqin.

Visits around Xi’an

Both itineraries include the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda in Da Ci’en Temple, the Grand Tang Mall, a Tang-themed pedestrian street, the city wall and the Bell and Drum Towers, the Muslim Quarter and the Terracotta Army. Some visits come with a talk, such as one on how ancient Chang’an was planned, and one itinerary adds the Xi’an City Planning Exhibition Hall and Huaqing Palace.
